Signature Living is looking for an experienced candidate from a construction accounting background to keep up to date records for processing into our Sage accounting System.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing detailed analysis of the Company’s Purchase Ledger (particularly in relation to CIS contractors)
  • Maintain records of business cost such as labour and materials
  • Process weekly CIS timesheets for input into Sage
  • Allocate CIS payments to Sage
  • Check Invoices/timesheets for inaccuracies
  • Reconcile supplier statements to Sage
  • Completion of CIS Returns
  • Production of Year End/Management Accounts
  • Assistance and preparation of month end accounts

Key Skills/Person Specification:

  • Must be organised
  • Good communication skills both verbal & written
  • Works well within a team
  • Works towards strict deadlines
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience
  • Fluent in Sage line 50
  • Knowledgeable in CIS status verification
  • Proficient in Excel and Sage
  • The ideal candidate will probably be studying for a recognised accounting qualification (preferred but not essential)
