Head of Event Sales

Signature Living currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Event Sales Manager to join are dynamic and ever-growing company at Signature Living group.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Events Sales Manager to take the lead on all our social events. You will be passionate about creating vibrant show stopping events, whilst maximising sales and meeting targets.

The ideal Events Sales Manager will have a strong sales background, you must target driven with a proven track record of continuously hitting KPI’s. You should be creative and have experience in designing, creating and marketing events.

Reporting to: Managing Director

Role Description:

  • Responsible for the continued success of our ticketed events including, afternoon teas, themed nights, social events, and seasonal events ect
  • Able to maximize the efficiency of all our venues through various events
  • Manage and coach the Events Sales Team to ensure sales are maximised continuously and targets are achieved
  • Ensure the effective and efficient delivery of all sales regarding events
  • Ensure an elevated level of customer service through the sale of event in line with customer requirements, company values and business objectives
  • Maximize business opportunities, ensuring a high conversion rate form initial enquiry
  • Explore all up-selling opportunities for each event to maximise sales
  • Monitor and manage the efficient and effective use of CRM systems
  • Ensure events are sold using a pricing strategy that maximises profit
  • Ensure the delivery of after sales care including completion of event summary feedback
  • Develop strategy and sales plans with Hotel Managers and the Management Team to ensure sales budgets are achieved
  • Ensure the consistent delivery of all KPI’s including, sales and growth
  • Continue to develop though the use of auditing – including team and process audits
  • Responsible for event Revenue and development within all our venues
  • Be accountable for following all company Policies & Procedures correctly – Ensure business is not exposed to unnecessary risk
  • Respond to enquiries within the time frame set by brand standards
  • Carry out any other duties as required by the Line Manager

Candidate Requirements:

  • You must be used to working in high pressured sales environment
  • You must be target driven, and have a proven track record of consistently hitting targets
  • Experience in creating events and managing the sales of those events
  • Able to think creatively to come up with new innovative events or ways of working
  • Able to effectively manage a team
  • Have an excellent, concise and professional telephone manner essential
  • Must possess exceptional communication skills both verbally and written
  • Strong computer skills, including all Microsoft packages
  • Must have the ability to meet deadlines whilst being target driven
  • Ability to work in a pressurised environment
  • Able to continuously meet targets
  • Must be self-motivated, whilst understanding the importance of working as part of a team;
  • A positive and outgoing personality is essential
