Successful candidates will have a passion for communicating great ideas and must have had some previous experience in a creative role within advertising or marketing. Experience of marketing in the hospitality industry is preferred by not essential. Running numerous projects simultaneously means workload management is an essential skill for this role.

The position includes but is not limited to the following areas:

  • Responsible for production of all marketing material in accordance with the company marketing plans
  • Assisting in ensuring all marketing activities, brand targets and strategy are being achieved to increase profitability and build customer loyalty
  • Development and management of communication channels including; websites, point of sale, and drink/food menus
  • Identifying opportunities for innovative and creative campaigns executed digitally, offline or on-site.
  • To be reactive to current events, looking to capitalise on any creative PR or marketing opportunities that arise
  • Maintain and strengthen brand image and consistency, including continued growth and development of existing brands in-line with the company’s strategic objectives
  • Working daily with graphic design team, communicating briefs and timeframes ensuring each brand is maintained and presented as desired within budget
  • Assisting in creating and implementing promotional campaigns, organising the timely execution of such projects.
  • To monitor and measure the response of all marketing communications to report on the effectiveness of campaigns
  • Ensuring all brand USP’s and marketing ideas/incentives evolve to continuously increase sales at all sites, utilising partner brands and PR opportunities to maximise brand exposure
  • To attend regular monthly meetings to discuss the long term brand marketing strategy, direction and development
  • To maintain effective internal communications with the sales team to ensure the brand strategy is communicated and executed at all levels to achieve and exceed targets
  • Management and planning of social and e-marketing campaigns in accordance with the marketing plan ensuring that all campaigns are signed off in advance for timely delivery to the database.

Essential Skills and/or Experience:

  • A creative thinker who can generate numerous ideas for campaigns and has a firm understanding of the importance of tone of voice and how these both engage customers
  • Experience of managing all aspects of marketing campaign execution across multiple channels, from initial brief construction to final campaign analysis and future recommendations
  • Excellent communications skills, workload management and multitasking ability
  • Expertise in managing external agencies and ensuring that they deliver to a high degree of quality and performance
  • Knowledge of print processes
  • Ability to influence at all levels
